During the month of February I attended several schools in the Roanoke Valley (Weldon Middle, Roanoke Rapids High, Weldon High, and Northwest Halifax) to discuss Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. The theme was Let's Talk about Relationship Red Flags.
Hannah's Place, Inc. would like to send a special Thank You to all of the students who participated in our Teen Dating Violence Awareness Art Contest. Participants were: Jaquan C and Jaquas H (Halifax County Schools Empowerment Zone) Trinity R and Teasia R (Kipp Gaston) Oliani V (Roanoke Valley Early College). There were 2 winners who each received a $50 Visa Gift Card and each of the other participating students received a $15 Subway Gift Card. The winners were Jaquan C (Halifax County School District Empowerment Zone) and Oliani (Weldon City Schools Roanoke Valley Early College)
